Marvel Universe
Currently printing comics I’m enjoying: Ultimate Spider-man, The Ultimates. I guess Iron Man and Exceptional X-men? The “From the ashes” x-men relaunch has been rough, I’m dropping titles left and right. Oh, “It’s Jeff” is still coming out, I’m just behind, but it’s good.
In general faves: Many krakoan era x-men books, (Marauders Vol 1 and X-Terminators Vol 2 would be my standouts). Kieron Gillen’s x-men writing circa the decimation (AvX Consequences is a standout). X-Men Snapshots #1 (Jay Edidin’s Cyclops One-shot). A lot of the Claremont run (the Magik mini is a standout). Immortal Hulk. Jonathan Hickman’s Fantastic Four run -> New Avengers -> Secret Wars. Chip Zdarsky’s Daredevil.
Indie/Creator Owned
Currently printing comics I’m enjoying: The Power Fantasy (Kieron Gillen) Saga (Brian K Vaughn and Fiona Staples), Nice House by the Sea, Something is Killing the Children (JTIV).
In general faves: Honestly all of those make my “in general” faves as well (swapping “by the sea” for “on the lake”). DIE, The Wicked and the Divine - Kieron Gillen. I really enjoyed Eight Billion Genies. Zoe Thorogood’s “It’s Lonely At the Center of the Earth”.
